Device-Based Esthetic Care
Device-based esthetic care is a broad label for services that use a device instead of, or alongside, the hands. It does not name one technology.
Different devices under one label
Devices may use heat, vibration, electrical current, light, ultrasound, or suction. These mechanisms feel different and have different precautions. A program name without the device name gives very little useful information.

Manual care and medical devices
Manual care relies primarily on the practitioner’s hands. Device-based care only tells you that equipment is involved. It does not establish whether the equipment is a general beauty device or a regulated medical device.
Why the specific device matters
Claims about fat reduction, skin regeneration, lifting, or muscle stimulation cannot be applied to devices as a single category. Classification, intended use, instructions, and safety information need to be checked for the exact product.
