Soothing Care

Soothing care is a commercial skin-care label focused on gentle cleansing and moisturization for skin that feels dry or sensitive. It is not a medical treatment category.

Typical scope

Programs often use mild cleansing, moisturizers, masks, and minimal friction. There is no standard formula, so the products and steps vary. The Korean phrase skin-calming care is often used alongside soothing care.

Sensitive skin and recovery care

Sensitive skin describes a tendency to develop uncomfortable sensations in response to products or the environment. Recovery care is a broader label used after procedures or for moisturizing programs. Neither term means that an esthetic service regenerates tissue or treats a skin disease.

Skin reactions

Even a product marketed as gentle can sting or cause redness. New products can be tested on a small area first. Severe or persistent redness, heat, itching, or swelling needs medical assessment.
