Abdominal Therapy
Abdominal therapy is a loose industry term for care focused on the abdomen. It is not a standardized method, so the area, tools, products, and use of heat vary by program.
A variable service label
Abdominal therapy and abdominal care are often used for the same general service category. The name alone does not show whether the upper abdomen, lower abdomen, waist, or sides are included.

Difference from Gung Therapy
Meccrom uses Gung Therapy as its own name for care centered on the lower abdomen. Abdominal therapy is a broader label used by different providers, not the name of one proprietary technique.
Esthetic and medical boundaries
Hands-on abdominal care does not reposition internal organs, remove retained waste, break down fat, or treat constipation. New or unexplained abdominal pain needs medical assessment.
