Core Balance

Core balance is a loose phrase linking trunk muscles with balance. It is not a formal diagnosis or one standardized esthetic method.

Use in exercise

In exercise, core commonly refers to muscles around the abdomen, back, and pelvis. Core balance training may combine trunk control and balance exercises, but the phrase does not name one fixed program.

Use in esthetics

An esthetic service may use core balance for a program around the abdomen, lower back, and pelvis. The label does not mean hands-on care strengthens core muscles or stabilizes the pelvis.

Related Meccrom terms

Body Balance is Meccrom’s term for planning the areas and order of care across the body. Abdominal therapy identifies an area of care rather than an exercise outcome. Neither is automatically the same as core balance.
